The royal wedding may be over but the Fersani S/S 2011 Collection at the just concluded Malta Fashion Week reminded fashionistas of the allure of hats and headpieces. The runway was awash with vibrant colors of pastel blue and lavender, and gowns cascaded with glittering silver organza finishing but a hat was what defined the style of this collection. Hats and head-dresses as an accessory, has been making a comeback on the runway with the Venexiana F/W 2011 collection using a Swarovski jeweled headpiece on one of their model, during New York fashion week. Lady Gaga is also a huge fan of hats, often sporting extravagant looks, inspired from a lobster to a piece of meat. We love the Fersani S/S 2011 collection with its fabulous floral inspired hats and vertical suspended buds or feathers that dance with the models on the runway.
