The Montonari Ono F/W13 collection seems almost like an ode to the beauty of fabrics from designer Ono. The looks are tailored and well fitted but it is the use of fabrics that's striking to me. The patterns he uses is perhaps influenced from his years as a pattern-maker at Bora Aksu, a designer whose aesthetics are alive with great texture. It is the texture with these looks that I love n this collection, with pencil skirts, jackets and capes that are created using lace, jacquard and velour.
