The Cotoo F/W13 collection continued in the tradition of it's initial concept of a 'modern couture' woman. Shuzo Hayashi gave us looks that were structured, refined and lady-like. Fabrics such as taffeta, chiffon and tweeds with embellishment finishes of furs, leather and sequins were trends seen at earlier shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan. I am loving this collection for the skirts and the way it creates a very flattering and forgiving silhouette for women. I am especially glad to see designer Shuzo Hayashi's use of color in this collection too, since black and white seemed to be the trend for many collections we've seen so far. Love or hate it?
