The use of color in Carlos Campos's F/W 2011 presentation is a statement of the eminent arrival of Fall. That's because, it's the traditional color that designers have consistently used for fall, and Campos is having fun doing so with this collection. The looks are very traditional as well, with the jackets and coats, but it's the use of the brown tones mixed with blue and gray that stands out. I am not a master at naming colors, but trying out new color schemes is fun and exciting, until you are told to take it off but not with these browns. I personally like the use of the color for this collection, because it almost becomes the subject matter with the only thing I am focused on. Carlos was on to something when he presented his collection in February because these are the color palettes that major retail stores have incorporated into their looks for Fall 2011.
