Melbourne Fashion Festival: Akira F/W13 Collection. @tfnow

The Melbourne Fashion Festival began in Melbourne, Australia with the Akira F/W13 collection that sent models down the catwalk, in looks reflecting an age of floral romance.  The motif of flowers was abundant on each design. An air of femininity with sheer overlays and tapered but yet soft silhouettes mixed with floral prints seemed rooted in oriental inspirations.  The white gowns that descended at the end, added to the allure of modern brides and feminine innocence.
