Marga Weiman S/S 2013 collection on day one of Amsterdam Fashion Week is a collision of fashion and art. Models took to the catwalk in trolley installations with some models bound to them while others fashionably pushed them on stage, decked out in high fashion looks. Kimono silhouettes with prints that seemed to be hand painted in razzling hypnotic designs with dark color tones creating a mood of suspense and disbelief. I love the platform shoes and the dress shapes which is finally revealed as the models emerge from the cage-like installation almost as if the designer is alluding to the idea of 'fashion and freedom'.
