A tearful Ann Curry officially made her departure announcement this morning on the 'Today Show' with Matt Lauer. It had been rumored for the past week now that she will be leaving but amidst it all Ann has shown grace, humility and style. Her fashion sense since she took over from Meredith Veira is one that I love. Print, shift and color blocking dresses were looks she donned on the morning shows for her fans. Whomever her stylist was, definitely showcased her fresh and charming personality with on-trend colors and accessories. Perhaps her charming personality was not enough and the right balance that NBC wanted, perhaps she did not have the right chemistry with Matt as it has been reported, perhaps many factors attributed to the allegedly low ratings. What I'd like to know is how could executives point out Ann Curry alone for the allegedly low ratings when there's a whole team on the 'Today Show'. Regardless, her style, poise and humble personality is what I will remember. I really believe when she tearfully said today that she really tried. Her gracefulness and humility in dealing with this to the end, speaks wonders of her character and that's what I call 'a lady'.
