New York Fashion Week: Suzanne Rae Fall 2012. @tfnow

The Suzanne Rae Fall/Winter 2012 collection is inspired by the internal revolution channeling the spirits of Jim Morrison, Aldous Huxley, and William Blake. Poetic and rock-n-roll, the collection is fueled by a quest for knowledge, spirituality and heightened consciousness.

The FW12 collection includes hand-screened prints designed in mind with the natural world through wood and fur inspired prints designed in collaboration with artist SamDakota. Rich velvets and wools, add depth to the collection, experimenting with silhouettes to create dresses and gowns, jackets and capes as well as separates.
Shoes by Edmundo Castillo for Suzanne Rae-the d'orsay slipper comes in a pointy toe and more of a "not so high" heel height and in a mix of textures and colors that makes the shoe unexpected but yet neutral.

**Suzanne Rae is proud to be a featured designer of the W Hotels Fashion Next program, a global platform for rising fashion visionaries, curated by Jenné Lombardo, Global Fashion Director of W Hotels. Fashion Next allows designers to showcase their work during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and beyond through exclusive events at W Hotels around the world, bringing them front and center to new audiences in some of the most dynamic, emerging centers of style.
