The Yves Saint Laurent Resort 2012 collection was presented in New York yesterday and it was red hot with its nautical inspirations. Stefano Pilati's vision of mixing 1940's retro glam with nautical motifs and embellishment is tastefully updated and summer chic. I love one of the looks of a jacket worn with just a belted waist, which almost looks like a homage to the classic YSL tuxedo jacket. The tuxedo jacket trend is a very sexy update to a look that made the house of YSL legendary by its original designer.
