The future of fashion with The Barney Cheng Collection at Hong Kong Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011

The Barney Cheng Collection was a sight of things to come in world of fashion as Hong Kong Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 continued. The fabric palette of metallic greys, silver and off-white was enough to set the tone of the collection that evoked a sense futurism. Yarn embroidered cocktail skirts and ruffled skirts created the texture without leaving each garment with a feel of the typical minimalist feel that we've seen over and over from designers who have approached this theme. Instead the embroidery, big belts and waistbands, yarns and lengthy use of fabric adds a new approach to this exciting theme.
